Just Walk On

Two losers argue about the game to win

One sees backwards and can never begin

The other thinks forward to a perfect day

Neither one can settle and just walk away

Just walk on

One thinks the answer is to punish the rest

Make it better by exacting some flesh

Even the score, take from the chest

Thinks the mental exercise merits a test

What a minute mister I donít understand

You try to tell me nothingís different between any man

I think the black and white difference is I canít and you can

I think youíre jumping from the fire into the frying pan

Just walk on

The other thinks the answerís simple

Leave the cup out till the rain makes it full

Sniff out the tidbits round the birdfeederís pole

Then complain the system is rigged to control

Just walk on

What a minute mister I donít understand

You try to tell me nothingís different between any man

I think the black and white difference is I canít and you can

I think youíre jumping from the fire into the frying pan

Just walk on

Nothing was done

To solve the plight

From morning till dawn

The day was night

They cried away theirs lives

Since they fell off the cradle

I say you gotta get up

Dust yourself off

Count yourself in

And walk on

Just walk on
